Automate compounding and rebalancing

June 28, 2026 · 5 min read · HypurrQuant

Managing liquidity by hand is a part-time job: fees pile up uncollected, and positions drift out of range while you sleep. Automation handles both for you — compounding and rebalancing — without ever taking custody of your assets.

What automation does

How it stays non-custodial

Automation runs through a session key — a scoped, revocable permission granted from your smart account. The key can perform only the actions you approved on the positions you approved, such as recentering. It cannot send your funds to any outside address, and you can revoke it at any time.

Turning it on

  1. Open a position (or pick an existing one) in the app.
  2. Enable automation and choose your settings — for example, how far price can drift before a recenter.
  3. Approve the session key by signing with your wallet. This grants the scoped permission; it does not move funds.
  4. That's it — automation now compounds and recenters for you until you turn it off or the key expires.
Set it and stay in control

Enable automation on a position and let fees compound and ranges recenter on their own. You can review or revoke the permission whenever you want — your keys never leave your hands.

Staying in control

You decide the rules, and you can pause, change, or revoke automation at any time. Session keys also expire automatically after the validity window you set, so a permission never lingers longer than you intend.

FAQ

Can automation withdraw or steal my funds?

No. Automation uses a scoped, revocable session key that can only perform approved actions like recentering liquidity on positions you approved. It cannot move your funds to an outside address, and you can revoke it at any time.

What does auto-compounding actually do?

It periodically collects the trading fees your position has earned and reinvests them back into the position, so your earning base grows over time instead of leaving fees uncollected.

How do I stop automation?

Open your account or the position in the app and disable automation, or revoke the session key directly. The permission also expires on its own after the validity window you chose.
